Skanska streamlines HSE training on the construction site with MentorKit LMS Suite Classic
HSE training is crucial on construction sites – and at the same time demanding to carry out effectively when many players, subcontractors and external workers are involved. For Skanska Norway, the need for scalable, documentable and user-friendly training has been clear. The solution was MentorKit LMS Suite Classic, with Course Creator and LMS Classic as central tools.

Skanska uses the MentorKit Course Creator to develop its HSE courses for the construction site, often referred to as PSI courses. The courses are a mandatory requirement for everyone who will have access to the construction site, whether they are working on building or construction projects. With MentorKit Course Creator, Skanska can quickly produce and update course content itself – without being dependent on external suppliers or technical expertise. This is especially important, because every construction project is different, and requires a customized course.
To make the training available to remote workers, Norsk Interactive has established a self-registration solution in MentorKit LMS Classic for Skanska. The workers simply register via a form that is either sent out by email or made available as a QR code upon arrival at the construction site. After registration, they immediately get access to the right course in the learning portal. Completion of the course is a prerequisite for admission to the area.

The administration interface in MentorKit LMS Classic gives Skanska a full overview of implementation, status and statistics – across projects and suppliers. This ensures both compliance and effective follow-up, while reducing manual work.
With MentorKit Suite Classic, Skanska has a comprehensive solution for course production, distribution and follow-up – adapted to a complex and demanding workday on the construction site.
