Arbeidstilsynet – Standardising Inspector Training and Compliance Across the Country

Utmaningen

Arbeidstilsynet (the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority) works to ensure safe, secure, and proper working conditions across every sector in Norway. With inspectors and advisers spread across regional offices nationwide, keeping everyone aligned on procedures, regulations, and updates to the Working Environment Act was a recurring challenge.

Relying on in-person sessions and static documents made training slow to roll out, hard to keep up to date, and difficult to document for a public body that must demonstrate accountability. Training needed to be:

• Consistent across all regional offices
• Easy to update when regulations change
• Accessible on any device, in the field or at the office
• Simple to document and report on
• Built and maintained by their own staff

Arbeidstilsynet needed a digital learning solution that gave them full control over both content and delivery — hosted securely and compliant with Norwegian and EU requirements.

Working closely with Arbeidstilsynet, we helped digitalise their training using MentorKit Sviten Klassisk — the integrated combination of MentorKit Kursmakare och MentorKit LMS Klassisk.
